Parking: G3 no.2 parking is in the event field and is free. When you arrive at the site, please engage 2nd gear if you can, use low revs and go straight into the field. Avoid stopping at the entrance of the field. This will avoid getting stuck at the entrance as the ground is a little soft at this point. It will also ease congestion on the road. Once in the car park, please follow the marshal’s instructions.

Toilets: on site.

The route: There will be hills and a cracking sunrise - hopefully! The Winterfold Forest plays a large part and once you’re at the top of Winterfold Hill, look out for the the view! The sunken trails for the most part are wet! Where there is water there is mud! And rocks! These are the best trails the Surrey Hills can throw at you! You will need your trail shoes.

There are tricky descents and road crossings. You will need to be alert!

Horses, mountain bikers, dog walkers: Always be aware of them. You will likely encounter them so please be sensible. If approaching a horse from behind, let the rider know as soon as you can.

Refreshments: There will be the usual brownies, bananas, coffee and snacks before and after the race.
